WUEVO – Keep your head safe with this cool new “Shell” !

Wuevo is a derivative of the word: ”huevo”, a Spanish word that means egg. An egg offers a natural shell protection, which we hope your WUEVO helmet will provide you.

The company ”Les Protections Kocask inc.” is a Canadian entity whose mandate is to offer people with an active lifestyle as well as athletes a product that insure the security of its people and reduces the effect of the impact to your head.

We conceived the CSA (hockey) approved WUEVO helmet to fill a need for girls and women that would like to practice a sport but are looking for head protection that is more practical and esthetically more appealing. Its uniqueness provides attributes that a regular helmet simply cannot offer such as a place for ponytails, or braid to come out of the helmet for better comfort as well as appealing colours and design. All that while providing increased safety while practicing a sport and being CSA (hockey) approved.

With all the head injuries due to impact around these days and the known effect it can have on your life, we are proud to always bring new innovative products to ensure you are protected in the most stylish way.

WUEVO – Warranty

Congratulations on the purchase of your new WUEVO helmet, with a unique design and “CSA” approved as per ice hockey standards. The WUEVO helmet is under warranty against any fabrication defects for a period of one year from the purchase date (proof of purchase required) as long as it is used as per the instructions and without modifications.

The following actions may damage the structure of your helmet and make it ineffective upon impact as it may cause the shell or liner to deteriorate. Any such actions will automatically void the WARRANTY and the CSA CERTIFICATION.

• Do not paint the helmet
• Do not perforate the helmet
• Do not affix decals
• Do not wipe clean with a cleanser containing any chemical
• Do not apply any chemical

* Only decals or products sold and provided for by the company ”Les Protections Kocask inc.” (Distributer of Wuevo helmets) are allowed to be applied to the WUEVO helmet.

Before use, and to ensure the warranty is valid, please insure that your WUEVO helmet has the CSA certification sticker and that all parts are in good and working conditions.

Please inspect your WUEVO helmet often and replace any parts that may have been damaged or obsolete with new original pieces. If your WUEVO helmet suffers a severe impact or if there is a crack in the helmet, please replace the helmet immediately.

FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE OF YOUR WUEVO HELMET

1- Make sure your helmet is properly adjusted and comfortable.

2- With the buckle, adjust the length of the strap so it is tight on your chin and the helmet secure.

3- Make sure the strategic area are well covered by your helmet.

4- Your Wuevo helmet is appropriate for the following sizes:

Small : 49 cm to 52 cm | Medium : 52 cm to 55 cm | Large : 55 cm à 59 cm

Your WUEVO helmet meets the CSA approved requirements according to the ice hockey standards Z262.1. However, the helmet was not designed nor intended to ensure total elimination of head or brain injuries but rather minimize any risks and effect that can result from such injury. Additionally, this helmet does not offer any protection against injuries to the neck and/or spine. Any of these above mentioned injuries (head, brain, neck or spine) and any further impact or injury can and may happen even with the use of a certified helmet.

This WUEVO helmet does not claim and is not intended to eliminate all injuries sustained while in use, but to minimize risks and the effects that could result from practicing the activity in which the helmet is required. The company ”Les Protections Kocask inc.” (WUEVO helmet distributor) and/or retailers and/or suppliers of “Les Protections Kocask inc.” such as “Les Plastiques Cellulaires Polyform” are in no way responsible or liable for the infallibility or malfunction of the helmet as well as any injuries sustained while in use.

HOW TO USE THE WUEVO HOOK

1 - Make a ponytail at the height of the allocated holes in the helmet.

2 - Attach the elastic of the hook in the middle of your ponytail.

3 - Put the WUEVO helmet on your head and move the hook inside the opening.

4 - Pull the hook until the elastic is through the opening.

5 - In some cases, you can also use the hook to pull your hair through the openings on the helmet.

WUEVO – Garantie

Félicitations pour votre achat d’un casque WUEVO dont le design unique est approuvé “CSA” selon les normes exigées pour le hockey sur glace. Utilisé selon les instructions et sans modification, votre casque WUEVO est garanti contre les défauts de fabrication et de main-d’œuvre pour une période de un an de la date d’achat (preuve d’achat requise).

Les actions qui suivent, peuvent endommager la structure de votre casque et le rendre inefficace lors d’un impact. De tels actions entraînent automatiquement l’annulation de la GARANTIE ainsi que de la CERTIFICATION CSA :
• Peindre votre casque;
• Perforer votre casque;
• Apposer des décalques;
• Appliquer un produit nettoyant contenant tout produit chimique;
• Nettoyer à l’aide d’un chimique quelconque.

* Seuls les décalques ou produits vendus ou fournis par ”Les Protections Kocask inc.” (distributeur des casques Wuevo) sont autorisés à être appliqués sur votre casque WUEVO. Avant utilisation, assurez-vous que votre casque WUEVO ait son autocollant de certification CSA et que les composantes sont en bon état de sorte que la garantie soit applicable.

Inspectez votre casque WUEVO régulièrement et remplacez les pièces endommagées ou désuètes par des pièces d’origine. Si votre casque WUEVO a subit un impact sévère et/où qu’il montre une fissure le remplacer immédiatement.

POUR UN FONTIONNEMENT OPTIMAL DE VOTRE CASQUE WUEVO

1- S’assurer que votre casque est bien ajusté et confortable.

2- À l’aide de la boucle, ajuster la longueur de la courroie afin qu’elle soit bien tendu sous le menton et que le casque demeure solidement en place.

3- S’assurer que les points stratégiques soient bien couverts par votre casque.

4- Votre casque WUEVO convient aux circonférences de têtes ci-dessous :

Petit : 49 cm à 52 cm    Moyen : 52 cm à 55 cm    Grand : 55 cm à 59 cm

Ce casque n’a pas la prétention et n’est pas conçu pour éliminer les blessures mais en minimiser les risques et les effets qui peuvent en résulter.

Votre casque WUEVO satisfait aux exigencies CSA de la norme Z262,1 pour le hockey sur glace. Cependant il n’a pas été conçu et n’a pas la prétention de garantir l’élimination totale de blessures à la tête et/ou au cerveau, mais en minimiser les risques et les effets qui peuvent en résulter. De plus, ce casque n’offre aucune protection contre les blessures qui pourraient subvenir au cou et/ou à la colonne vertébrale. Toutes ces blessures; à la tête, au cou, au cerveau ou à la colonne vertébrale,ainsi que leurs répercusions peuvent subvenir malgré l’emploi d’un casque certifié.

La compagnie ”Les Protections Kocask inc.” (distributeur du casque WUEVO) et/ou ses détaillants et/ou son fabriquant  pour “LES PROTECTIONS KOCASK inc.” soit “LES PLASTIQUES CELLULAIRES POLYFORM” ne répondent aucunement de l’infaillibilité du casque et ne sont nullement responsable des blessures possibles qui pourraient être subies lors de son utilisation.

Comment utiliser le crochet

1 - Faire une couette à la hauteur des trous alloués à cet effet;

2 - Attacher l’élastique du crochet près de celui de la couette;
3 - Mettre le casque WUEVO au dessus de votre tête et passer le crochet à l’intérieur de l’une des ouvertures du casque conçues à cet effet;
4 - Sortir le crochet jusqu’à ce que l’élastique glisse la couette;
5 - Dans certain cas, vous pouvez aussi utiliser le bout arcé du crochet pour retirer la couette du casque.
